What is Jail & Bail?

The Roanoke Valley Paralegal Association’s Jail & Bail Fundraiser is a fun and engaging fundraising campaign that brings together legal professionals, community leaders, and supporters for a good cause. Participants haven been given humorous “charges” and challenged to raise bail money from friends, family, colleagues, and the community.

This year, RVPA is proud to partner with our 2026 Annual Charity, CASA/Children’s Trust of Roanoke Valley. Together, we are raising funds to support both organizations’ missions of strengthening our community through education, advocacy, and service.

Our Goal

Our goal is to raise $2,000.00 through this year’s Jail & Bail campaign.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be shared between the Roanoke Valley Paralegal Association and CASA/Children’s Trust of Roanoke Valley, allowing both organizations to continue making a meaningful impact in our community.

Funds raised will help:

  • Provide affordable and accessible legal education and professional development opportunities through RVPA
  • Support CASA/Children’s Trust’s efforts to advocate for and serve vulnerable children and families
  • Expand community outreach and educational programming
  • Strengthen local resources that promote access, advocacy, and opportunity throughout the Roanoke Valley

Every donation helps both organizations continue their important work and invest in a stronger future for our community.
