Where: Roanoke River near Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke

RVPA is putting together a team of volunteers for Clean Valley’s Waterways Clean up day to remove trash from the Roanoke River area near Black Dog Salvage in Roanoke.

We will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9th in the Vic Thomas Park parking lot located at 1234 Midvale Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24016 (next to Black Dog Salvage).

Trash bags and gloves will be provided, although you are free to bring your own gloves as well. Comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes are recommended.

Every year volunteer teams from all over the Roanoke Valley will join forces to remove trash from our streams, creeks and rivers and their vicinities. Learn more about Clean Valley Council’s annual waterways cleanup HERE.
