The purposes of the Roanoke Valley Paralegal Association are to advance and encourage paralegals; to develop, promote and maintain the highest degree of ethical and professional attainment; to provide sources and opportunities for continuing legal education; to be a source of information and assistance for its members, the community and bar association; and to cultivate a spirit of professionalism, cooperation and good fellowship among its members, the Virginia Alliance of Paralegal Association, the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. and members of the legal community.
